Bayegan started to carry out its activity with Cafer Bayegan in 1940s for the first time. The cross stitch and sack trade have ensured the development of today’s plastic infrastructure. The coffee and paraffine trade initiated by Hacı Zülfikar Zülfikari underlines today’s chemical infrastructure. The third-generation managers being a combination of two fellow and merchant families owe their infrastructure to this background.   

   The group, which has developed its overseas expansions in 2000s, added international trade to its local distribution thanks to 24 overseas offices. The group did not only content with petrochemical industry such as plastic and chemistry but also expanded its field of activity by adding the products such as power, iron-steel, coal, etc. to its portfolio. Today, the group being a significant power in its region has concluded significant agreements with the world’s major companies.
